Suwanee, GA (100% Onsite)
Shift:
1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Employment Type:
Full-Time (Temp-to-Hire, approx. 6 months)
Compensation:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Company Overview Our Client is a leading Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider specializing in high-quality Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly and manufacturing with diverse industries to deliver mission-critical electronic solutions. They are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator to join their team in Suwanee to ensure our finished goods and purchased parts consistently exceed customer specifications and industry standards. Role Summary The QA Coordinator provides vital support to our quality operations, spanning packaging, assembly, incoming inspections, and returned goods (RMA). Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will monitor quality systems to ensure compliance with
IPC-A-610
standards and internal Quality Management Systems (QMS). This role is essential in promoting continuous improvement and ensuring that every component leaving our facility meets the highest levels of reliability. Key Responsibilities
Inspections & Audits:
Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102. Perform internal audits to align with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
RMA Management:
Coordinate and manage Return Material Authorization (RMA) activities. Inspect returned PCBAs using microscopes per
IPC-A-610
standards and communicate daily results to production leadership.
System Maintenance:
Manage activities within the QT9 quality management software and maintain all associated documentation.
Compliance Monitoring:
Identify gaps or inconsistencies in data and documentation. Ensure all processes meet organizational, state, federal, and industry regulations (including ESD awareness).
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Operations team and customers to investigate quality deviations and support Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Verification:
Verify the calibration of production line equipment and assist with Incoming, In-Process (IPQ), and Final Quality Assurance (FQA) inspections as needed. Knowledge & Skill Requirements
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of electronic components, soldering standards, and industry-accepted inspection techniques.
Communication:
Strong ability to convey technical quality information clearly to cross-functional teams and supervisors.
Software Proficiency:
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with ERP systems and QT9.
Detail Orientation:
Ability to follow complex work instructions and identify minute defects in small-scale electronic assemblies. Qualifications
Required:
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Technical:
Proven familiarity with
IPC-A-610
standards.
Preferred:
Certifications:
IPC-A-610
Certification; AS9100 or
ISO 9001
Lead Auditor certification.
Education:
Associate degree in a technical or business-related field.
Quality Background:
3-5 years of specialized quality experience; familiarity with
ISO 13485
