QA/QC Engineer - Oilfield Chemical Operations Andrews, TX | Full-Time $65,000-85,000 A growing oilfield services organization in West Texas is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support chemical operations tied to frac and acid service lines. This position offers a blend of quality assurance, field engineering support, operational coordination, and product testing within a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain broad exposure across engineering, operations, and chemical services while working closely with field teams and leadership. Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance & Quality Control Review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and validate incoming chemicals against specifications Conduct compatibility testing and product validation procedures Collect and manage field samples from operational sites Support ongoing R D initiatives and chemical formulation testing Maintain accurate inventory and testing records Operations & Documentation Create, manage, and close out job packets for frac and acid operations Upload and organize operational field data and signed documentation Coordinate documentation flow with accounting and operations teams Assist with SDS management, BOL preparation, and asset tracking Field & Engineering Support Provide backup engineering support for field operations as needed Support operator training and compliance initiatives Track operational KPIs and reporting metrics Assist with troubleshooting and operational process improvements Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license with willingness to travel to field locations as needed Preferred Experience within oilfield chemicals, completions, frac, or acid operations Familiarity with QA/QC testing procedures and chemical handling Experience with inventory or project management systems such as Monday.com Prior exposure to field engineering or operational support environments
