Job Description

About the Role As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high production standards by ensuring all components and finished goods meet rigorous dimensional and integrity requirements. You will leverage your technical expertise in measurement and analysis to drive continuous improvement and uphold our commitment to excellence in every product delivered. Responsibilities Conduct precise dimensional inspections of components and assemblies against engineering drawings to ensure strict compliance. Perform comprehensive weld integrity testing, including sectioning, polishing, and detailed analysis. Execute capability studies on critical product characteristics to identify process trends and improvement opportunities. Support the calibration program by maintaining and verifying the accuracy of inspection tools, functional gages, and test equipment. Facilitate the non-conforming material (NCM) process by inspecting parts and assisting with inventory management. Develop and refine programs aligned with PPAP principles to streamline quality planning and production readiness. Maintain a high-standard work environment by adhering to 5S methodologies and promoting a culture of safety. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in a quality lab environment or relevant technical quality training. Proficiency with precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and vision systems. Strong ability to document data accurately and legibly on inspection reports. Familiarity with quality control software like PC-DMIS. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with the PPAP process and APQP principles. Demonstrated ability to perform data analysis and manipulation for quality reporting. Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing setting. Strong collaborative skills to work effectively within a team-oriented production environment.
