What You'll Do As a Quality Assurance Technician I, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality and food safety standards at every stage of the production process.

Your responsibilities will include:

Perform Quality Checks:

Conduct in-line checks and start-up preparations (weight, coding, oxygen, packaging, leaker inspections) to ensure standards are met.

Sanitation and Safety:

Carry out sanitation inspections, routine metal detector and scale verifications, and chemical titrations to guarantee food safety.

Inspect Raw Materials:

Examine raw materials, including sensory evaluation and record findings accurately.

Documentation:

Clearly and promptly report findings, document any out-of-spec product, and process holds as needed.

Sample Collection:

Collect product samples for the retention program and monitor GMP adherence facility-wide.

Team Collaboration:

Provide positive feedback and corrective guidance to co-workers; assist in quality correction as needed.

Continuous Improvement:

Report quality and food safety concerns immediately, maintaining compliance with all procedures and standards. This Job Might Be a

Great Fit If You:

Have a high school diploma or equivalent ; experience in the food industry is highly valued. Are familiar with HACCP and GMP regulations (a plus!). Offer strong attention to detail, organizational, math, and recordkeeping skills , with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Excel at verbal and written communication and enjoy contributing to a team environment. Are reliable, dependable, able to multi-task , and take pride in working quickly and accurately. Can stand for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 75 pounds , handle repetitive tasks, and work in temperatures between 32-52°F (freezer/cooler environments). Are comfortable working with tree nuts, milk, and wheat. Have the ability to speak, read, and write in English fluently. Why Kelly®?
