As a Quality Assurance Technician for the facility, you will be responsible for learning how to audit work activities of processing production workers to verify conformance of activities to quality assurance standards of raw, cooked or IQF (frozen) product to maintain quality, sanitation, HACCP, and GMP operations. Learn how to and perform the duties of a Quality Assurance Technician 1. Audit work activities of processing production workers to verify conformance of activities to quality assurance standards of raw, cooked or IQF (frozen) product to maintain quality, sanitation, HACCP, and GMP operations. Maintain multiple lines and perform thermometer calibrations. Enforce GMP's. Foreign material reports, QA hold reports and damaged goods reports. Review labels. Monitor and record HACCP CCP's. Pre-operation and operation sanitation checks, product checks including bone checks, size checks, grading finished products, oven setting checks, product temperature checks, scale checks, weight checks, label checks, box seal checks on packaging, product color checks and comparison of product to product pictures. Notify Quality Assurance Manager of any HACCP deviation, foreign material or Quality Assurance holds. Enter data into computer when necessary. Practice good housekeeping. CN verification. Monitor one line and perform temperature and size checks, grade product, bone checks, scale checks, package checks and color checks. Monitor and record metal detection and record oven line settings. Monitor and record HACCP temperatures. While working as a temperature checker on the out feed of the oven, monitor meat temperatures every five (5) minutes.Minimum Qualifications:
One year of related experience. Ability to read, write, interpret labels, and follow instructions. Basic knowledge of arithmetic. Basic computer knowledge. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred.Physical Demands:

Occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. 6. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 7. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. 8.
