  • Full-time Overview Focus, detail-oriented, pace, and communication skills are critical to this role.
Primarily, develop, program, and operate a Zeiss CMM using Calypso software in an organized and repeatable manner. Additionally, utilize support equipment such as Mitutoyo CMM, optical comparator, and other tools. Ownership to maintain calibration program. Support

system duties and audits. Duties Develop and write programs for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) using Zeiss Calypso software to perform precise dimensional inspections of complex parts and assemblies Operate CMM equipment to measure parts according to engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints, ensuring compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and leadership teams to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and CAD models created in SolidWorks or other CAD software Conduct detailed inspections using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators to verify dimensional accuracy Analyze measurement data, generate inspection reports, and document findings in accordance with
ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO
13485, and ASME codes & standards requirements Troubleshoot measurement issues and recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in quality control procedures Maintain calibration records for all measurement tools and coordinate calibration schedules for CMM equipment to ensure ongoing precision Qualifications Proven experience programming and operating CMM equipment, preferably with PC-DMIS or Calypso software Strong understanding of GD&T principles, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation Knowledge of
ISO 9001, AS9100
aerospace standards, ISO 13485 medical device standards, and ASME codes & standards related to quality control Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in manufacturing processes such as machining and CNC operations Ability to read and interpret CAD files from SolidWorks or similar platforms for inspection planning Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments including micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, dial indicators, and coordinate measuring machines Solid math skills for dimensional analysis and measurement data interpretation Familiarity with schematics, tooling diagrams, and technical drawings used in manufacturing environments Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced setting Join us in ensuring the highest standards of quality through precise measurement technology!
