Job Description

Nexus Employment Solutions Plus, inc. is hiring Quality Control Inspectors for the Watseka, IL area. Please apply for immediate consideration. 1st Shift Monday through Friday 6:00am-4:30pm Saturday, as scheduled (will know every Wednesday at 2:30pm) - 6:00am-11:00am Weekly Pay $16.00 hourly
Rate Position Summary:
The quality inspector is responsible for inspecting painted parts and products to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards. This role involves conducting visual inspections, performing measurements, documenting results, and communicating any defects or deviations to the paint line and quality teams to maintain consistent product quality and compliance.
Position Duties:
Perform visual inspections of painted parts for defects such as runs, drips, sags, thin coverage, overspray, contamination, or color mismatches. Verify paint thickness, gloss, and adhesion according to specifications using proper measuring tools and testing equipment. Ensure parts meet cosmetic and functional standards before moving to the next production stage. Record and maintain accurate inspection data, test results, and quality documentation in accordance with company procedures. Identify and segregate nonconforming products and communicate findings promptly to paint line operators and supervisors. Assist in calibration checks of quality inspection tools and maintain inspection area cleanliness and organization. Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving paint quality consistency. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
