Job Description

QUALITY CONTROL COORDINATOR

 Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM$18.00 per hour 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Inspect incoming materials, trailers, production processes, and finished products to ensure quality and compliance.

Maintain accurate inspection, verification, and testing documentation on required forms and logs.

Review incoming goods for damage, infestation, tampering, and proper labeling (e.g., Kosher, allergen, organic).Verify required documentation for incoming materials, including Certificates of Analysis (COA), specifications, and other compliance records.

Tag, disposition, and record incoming goods, including rejected or held materials, in appropriate tracking systems and logs.

Monitor product holds and ensure items are properly identified, documented, and stored in designated hold areas.

Coordinate laboratory sampling and testing with third-party labs and track test results.

Prepare outgoing Certificates of Analysis for customers.

Communicate quality concerns, product holds, or non-compliance issues with the Quality Manager, QC team, and production personnel.

Follow all safety, sanitation, and quality procedures while maintaining accurate and timely records. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 High school diploma or GED required.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Basic math skills and ability to perform accurate data entry.

Detail-oriented with knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Ability to distinguish all colors, including red and green.

Willingness and ability to travel to warehouse facilities in Gonzales and San Antonio as needed. #psseguin
