Job Summary The quality inspector is responsible for inspecting plastic injection molded parts to ensure they meet customer and internal quality requirements. This role supports daily production by performing in-process and final inspections, documenting results, identifying nonconforming products, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives. Job Responsibilities Work cell set-up with proper work instructions, quality documents, and product labels. Inspect molded parts for defects such as flash, short shots, sink marks, and burns. Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections per control plans and work instructions Use inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, Go/No-go fixtures, and visual standards Conduct basic functional and fit checks as required Record inspection results accurately on inspection sheets Communicate defects and trends to operators, process technicians, and supervisors Assist with corrective action documentation when required Follow all safety policies and procedures Maintain a clean and organized inspection area Properly handle and store inspected materials Perform other related duties and assignments as required Job Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Good reading and writing skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
