Quality Control Inspector Quality Department on day shift (7:30am-6pm) night shift (6pm-4:30am)
Pay:
$15.00 and up based on experience About Gokoh Coldwater Incorporated (GCI): Gokoh Coldwater Incorporated (GCI) is a leading Tier 2 OEM automotive parts supplier specializing in the production of sand cores used in casting brake rotors.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented quality control inspector to join our production team. This hands-on role is responsible for inspecting product for quality, and ensuring standards are consistently met. The right candidate can learn quickly, retain processes, and apply what they've been taught without needing repeated instruction.

  • Ability to push or pull totes up to 80lbs
  • Ability to lift or manipulate castings up to 20lbs
  • Ability to work in a hot and dirty environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to handle repetitive motion Quality
  • Complete tracking paperwork as required
  • Make sure machines are confirmed for quality after all repairs are made
  • Make sure all machines are producing parts that meet our quality specs
  • Assist on updating Quality Control standards
  • Keep all Quality Control standards up to date
  • Communicate with fellow co-workers
  • Make sure test parts are clearly identified
  • Knowledge of quality assurance procedure
  • Knowledge of quality assurance flow chart
  • Understanding of parts specifications
  • Report to the Manager Safety
  • Check all process area to insure safe working conditions
  • Safety training
  • Safety awareness
  • Reporting potential safety problems Environment
  • Keep floor and your area clean at all times
  • Monitor the area and report any issues regarding environment Daily
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings
  • Communicate pertinent information to all associates
  • Input data generated from production
  • Communicate key points from production
  • Update Quality Control lead on any sorts
