Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
SEACORP is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to ensure that products and services meet established quality standards through rigorous inspection, testing, and process monitoring. Supporting production efforts for numerous large prime contractors in the Department of Defense (DOD) arena, the successful candidate will help develop and refine existing quality processes and procedures. This role covers the entire production lifecycle, including receipt, in-process, and outgoing inspections.Job Responsibilities Include:
Inspection & Verification:
Conduct receipt, in-process, and outgoing inspections to ensure all deliverables meet internal and customer standards. Verify that all fabricated metal items are produced in strict accordance with current drawing specifications. Document all inspection findings and test results with high precision to maintain comprehensive quality records. Work closely with project leads, engineers, and technicians to establish appropriate inspection stop points and levels of oversight.Quality Management & Compliance:
Manage all quality Objective Quality Evidence (OQE), Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), and SEACORP-generated Certificates of Conformance (C-of-Cs). Analyze quality data to identify trends, process gaps, or areas for continuous improvement. Manage or assist in the calibration tracking and maintenance of over 100 pieces of specialized test equipment. Assist in the development and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance existing quality frameworks.Qualifications:
