Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a proactive, detail‑driven Quality Control (QC) Supervisor to oversee day‑to‑day in‑process quality operations on the production floor. In this role, you'll lead QC Technicians, ensure product quality meets specifications, maintain audit‑ready documentation, and drive compliance with GMPs and company standards. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced production environment, enjoys coaching teams, and is passionate about ensuring consistent product quality. What You'll DoTeam Leadership Supervise QC Technicians and assign daily responsibilities. Ensure testing, sampling, and documentation are completed accurately. Monitor performance and support continuous improvement. In‑Process Quality Monitoring Verify product attributes (weight, pH, Brix, appearance, etc.) meet specifications. Identify deviations and work with Production to implement corrections. Escalate issues to the QC Manager promptly. Compliance & Documentation Ensure all QC activities follow GMPs, company policies, and regulatory standards. Maintain complete, audit‑ready records of tests, sampling, and corrective actions. Training & Development Train QC Technicians on testing methods and compliance expectations. Build a culture of accountability and high‑quality work. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with Production and Maintenance to resolve issues. Support QA initiatives tied to food safety, audits, and customer standards. Continuous Improvement Analyze QC data for trends and recommend process improvements. Help reduce waste and improve production efficiency. What You Bring Required Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in food quality or food safety roles. Supervisory or lead experience preferred. Strong knowledge of GMPs and in‑process quality controls. Preferred Bilingual English/Spanish. Proficiency in MS Office and quality management systems. Work Environment Fast‑paced production setting with exposure to moving equipment and forklifts. Cold, wet, or humid conditions depending on the area. Loud noise levels; PPE required.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
