Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO
This position ensures that products meet specific standards and specifications. They will focus on monitoring, inspecting and testing finished product to ensure consistent quality. Using drawings/blueprints, quality technicians will verify that each completed unit conforms to design parameters. Additionally, grade 2 quality control technicians will be responsible for small repairs on hydraulic reservoirs using a Dynasty tig welding machine. Grade 2 technicians must be able to reconcile completed units to engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure unit conformance and specifications. Ideal candidates should have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a team environment. This is a grade 2 position; prior experience with industry-standard quality control processes and equipment is a must. Preferably, 1-2 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment. This position is considered a safety sensitive position due to "the operation of a motor vehicle, other vehicle (forklift), equipment, machinery or power tools or the repairing, maintaining or monitoring the performance or operation of any equipment, machinery or manufacturing process, the malfunction or disruption of which could result in injury or property damage". Conduct quality inspections on finished products. Perform testing on units to ensure compliance with company standards and product specifications. Perform small repairs as needed. Record and report findings, including defects, non-conformances, or deviations from quality standards. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and identify corrective actions. Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to confirm accuracy and reliability. Review and approve product batches based on inspection and test results. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding quality control. Provide feedback and training to staff on quality control practices. Assist with the development and implementation of quality standards and guidelines.YOUR EXPERIENCES & SKILLS
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. Knowledge of quality management systems. Strong understanding of testing methods, measurement systems, and inspection techniques. Proficiency in using quality control tools Basic computer skills Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and in a team environment Previous experience with industry standard quality control equipment and related processes is required.
