Quality Control/Fraud & Abuse Coordinator

East Missouri Action Agency has an opening for a Quality Control/Fraud & Abuse Coordinator . This position is responsible for the development and implementation of the PHA's Quality Control Plan, and closely monitoring the key components of the rental assistance programs. This position reviews selected files and completes HQS inspections of selected housing units, investigates and documents fraud and abuse with program and initiates appropriate actions for correction. The job encompasses the PHA's current 10 county area and will require travel. The coordination of daily operations of the Shelter Plus program is also included in this positions responsibilities. Applicants must be 18 or older and must possess a high school diploma or GED. A minimum of 3 years of experience in housing field, experience in HUD Section 8 Housing requirements and HQS inspections is strongly preferred. Candidate must have the ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, timely and well organized manner. Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills, proficiency in general computer operations, the ability to adapt to differing job responsibilities, excellent organization, good judgment, the ability to work in a team atmosphere, honesty, integrity and stability are all required. Candidate must have a valid Missouri Driver's License, reliable transportation and liability insurance.

This position will likely end up restructured to cover agency wide compliance in the near future. Starting pay range for this position is $23.00/hour .
