$30 per hour Plus Excellent Benefits Position Summary The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting all products and raw materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Reporting to the Inspection Lead and/or Quality Manager, this role supports quality assurance processes, maintains inspection accuracy, and promotes continuous improvement initiatives across operations. Key Responsibilities Utilize a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments to inspect dimensions and record results according to established work instructions. Perform mathematical calculations to determine the extent of nonconformance and complete all required documentation accurately. Conduct inspection checks and dimensional verification while ensuring all work instructions and quality procedures are followed. Identify the need for repair, calibration, or replacement of measuring equipment and coordinate accordingly. Support and promote continuous improvement initiatives to meet operational and business objectives. Maintain active inspection stamp authorization. Manage multiple priorities and competing tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Demonstrate flexibility with shift schedules, training needs, workflow demands, and overtime requirements as needed. Support compliance with all OSHA, health, safety, and environmental regulations. Perform additional duties within the scope and skill level of the role to support departmental objectives and employee development. Preferred Experience & Skills DQR (Designated Quality Representative) and/or SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance) experience preferred. Willing to Achieve it is fine. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess information and apply logic to resolve issues. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to completing work thoroughly and accurately. Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills. High level of integrity and professionalism. Adaptable and flexible in a changing work environment. Dependable with a demonstrated ability to fulfill commitments and responsibilities. Self-motivated with initiative to take on responsibilities and challenges. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing ERP systems, including Job Boss and Unipoint. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. 2+ years of inspection experience preferred (non-aerospace experience accepted). Physical Requirements This position requires medium work, including: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently Exerting up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects Employees may be required to: Move, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, finger, grasp, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday. Communicate effectively through talking and hearing as part of daily job responsibilities.
