Role and Responsibilities:

Read blueprints, drawings, plans, and routers to fully understand the desired customer requirements and specifications. Follow inspection procedures, methods, and certification processes Perform a wide variety of gauging set-ups and devise methods of checking unusual parts. Perform quality inspections on a wide variety of machined metal parts of complicated form with exceptionally close tolerances, ensuring the final product meets the provided specifications. Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records. Report any anomalies/non-conformances. Participate in non-conformance investigations and the resolution of quality-related issues. Able to use common inspection tools (calipers, tape measure, micrometers, etc.). Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required, education in vocational or technical school preferred. Minimum of 2-5 years in a manufacturing setting in an inspection role or related field. Possesses working knowledge of

ISO 9001

2015 and statistical process control. Preferred Skills Experience operating inspection tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM, Faro Arms, etc.) Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Excellent mathematical skills Able to work in a team environment Physical Demands and Working Environment Works in a manufacturing environment and is exposed to moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles. Required to wear eye, foot, and/or other personal protective equipment while performing duties. May on a frequent basis squat, climb, push/pull objects, lift up to 25 lbs., and use hands/fingers for grasping and reaching. May on an occasional basis bend at the waist; reach above the shoulder; turn or twist body; lift up to 50 lbs.; carry up to 35 lbs.; and use hands/fingers for fine manipulation. The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to loud.
