Position Type:
Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire About the Opportunity Our client is seeking a Quality Inspector to support quality control within their manufacturing operation. This role will focus on inspecting components coming off CNC machines, along with incoming third-party items that require quality approval. This is a hands-on inspection role ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, experience using gauges and measurement tools, and the ability to document inspection results accurately. The position is temp-to-hire, offering a strong opportunity for long-term placement based on performance and fit. What You'll Do Inspect incoming materials to confirm specifications, quality standards, and acceptability Perform visual and measurement inspections on in-process production Inspect finished products and verify quality before approval Identify nonconforming materials or products and communicate required adjustments Return products for rework when needed and confirm rework has been completed properly Document inspection results through reports, logs, and quality database entries Use gauges, measurement equipment, and other inspection tools to verify product conformity Follow operating instructions for measurement equipment and coordinate repairs when needed Support a safe, clean, and compliant work environment Recommend quality improvements or changes to requirements as needed Assist with quality management initiatives and support training when applicable What We're Looking For Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience Experience inspecting machined components or manufactured parts Ability to read and confirm specifications using visual and measurement testing Hands-on experience with gauges and other inspection devices Strong documentation skills and attention to detail Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic computer systems Ability to communicate quality concerns clearly with production and leadership teams CMM Arm experience is a plus
