Job Description

Move forward with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Inspector in La Verne, CA. As a Quality Inspector you will: Perform inspections of company products to determine conformance with specifications Processes associated documentation, including process tags, rework and non-conforming documents Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure efficient and comply with safety standards Going on the to the shop floor to work closely with the machine and machinist to ensure parts are being made accurate and procedures are being followed This a full-time opportunity.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 6am to 2:30pm The ideal candidate will have: Required Skills and Qualification Experience working in a Manufacturing environment Read blueprints for precision machined parts - Understand specs and symbols A trained eye for detail and problem-solving skills A high degree of organization, reporting capabilities, effective communication and capable of interacting with internal and external customers. Proven experience as a quality inspector or relevant role in machine shop manufacturer. Experience working on a manufacturing team with machinists and engineers is a plus Familiar with the use of all inspection hand gauging including but not limited to; micrometers, thread gauges, dial indicators, vernier calipers, height gauges, internal and external thread gauges, ID/OD mics, bore gauges, and etc. Preferred Skills and Qualifications Ability to learn company software Knowledge of Microsoft office & excel 8. Understanding office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers) Ability to work alone, with a partner or team Familiar with current

Pay Rate :
