Full-time | 1st & 2nd Shifts About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector I•Optics to support quality inspection operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing routine and non-routine inspections using precision metrology tools and established inspection methods to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. This is a great opportunity for candidates with manufacturing or quality inspection experience who enjoy hands-on work, problem solving, and working in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine mechanical inspections using predetermined methods to verify product acceptability Conduct visual, functional, and mechanical inspections, including optics verification and collimator setup Verify inspection data using double-gaging methods to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies Support Quality Engineering with MRB identification and processing of nonconforming material Utilizepany operating systems to perform material movements, inquiries, and other required functions Assist with validation of fixtures and gauges to maintain efficient product flow Participate in corrective action processes and follow-up activities to resolve quality issues Communicate inspection findings and quality concerns clearly with supervisors and team members Contribute ideas and process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to internal and external quality issues Maintainanized and safe workspaces through 5S and workplace sustainment activities Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred Experience with metrology tools and inspection techniques preferred Oracle and Agile system experience is a plus Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills Strongmunication and time management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Strong attention to detail andmitment to quality standards Working Conditions Position requires standing for the majority of the shift (90%+) Repetitive tasks and motions are required throughout the workday Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, walking, and stair climbing Must be able to lift and/or move materials up to 40 pounds Manufacturing environment exposure is expected Why ? Pay Details:
