We are looking for a Quality Manager who possesses the technical grit to perform hands-on inspections and the leadership vision to maintain a world-class Quality Management System (QMS). Responsibilities You will be the authority on quality, ensuring every part leaving our facility meets the rigorous standards of AS9100, ITAR, and our defense partners.

• Quality Documentation:

  Assemble and audit complete quality data packages; lead the preparation and submission of AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAIs).

• Process Control:

  Establish "In-Process Control Plans" for every job, including drawing bubbling through High QA and quality integration within ProShop ERP.

• Metrology & Calibration:

  Oversee the calibration of all inspection equipment and maintain a precise, audit-ready calibration database.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Manage the Non-Conformance (NCR) and Corrective Action (CAR) processes, driving root-cause analysis to eliminate recurring issues.

• Throughput Management:

  Lead and mentor the inspection team to move parts through the quality lab efficiently without compromising accuracy.

• Strategic Collaboration:

  Work closely with Project Managers and the Shop Floor Manager to align quality checkpoints with aggressive production schedules.

• QMS Stewardship:

  Maintain and evolve the QMS with the goal of leading successful AS9100 internal and external audits. Qualifications/Skills

• Technical Literacy:

  Expert-level ability to read complex blueprints and apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5).

• Leadership:

  Proven ability to manage a team and interface professionally with customers and auditors.

• Software Savvy:

  Proficiency in ERP systems (ProShop experience is a major advantage).

• Regulatory Knowledge:

  Familiarity with AS9100, ITAR, and CMMC requirements.

• Analytical Mindset:

  Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on "Risk-Based Thinking."
