  • Elkhart, IN A well-established manufacturing corporation of vehicle electronics and diagnostic equipment serving industries such as Off-Highway, Bus & Coach, Truck & Fleet, Marine, and Specialty Vehicles is seeking a Quality Manager to join our team in Elkhart, IN.
With over 30 years of industry experience and part of a global organization based in Toulouse, France, we are committed to delivering high-quality products and continuous innovation. Position Summary The Quality Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the organization's Quality Management Program. As the leader of the quality team, this role oversees departmental staff, ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and maintains the integrity of the Quality Management System (QMS). This individual will also play a key role in meeting customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Job Specific Competencies:
Quality Management Lead and manage the quality team Address and respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Monitor internal and supplier quality performance metrics Drive proactive quality improvement initiatives Review, analyze, and interpret regulatory, scientific, and technical documentation Coordinate and deliver ISO standards training Oversee Quality Management System (QMS) training programs Legal & Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and OSHA regulations Maintain adherence to ISO standards and procedures Enforce company policies and procedures Working Conditions Movement
  • Occasional movement between office and production floor; frequent use of hands and arms Physical Activity
  • May include standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling Equipment Use
  • Operation of standard office equipment (computer, printer, copier, etc.) Communication
  • Frequent interaction with team members and leadership; must convey information clearly Lifting Requirements

Makes informed decisions after taking into account all the information, potential positive and negative outcomes of these decisions Requirements Minimum Qualifications and Education Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with Total Quality Management (TQM), Lean, or Six Sigma preferred Experience in electronics design and/or manufacturing preferred Background in Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive component manufacturing or similar industries preferred Experience working in a design and manufacturing environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar systems Technical Expertise (Preferred)
