Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team on 2nd or overnight, 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with first-run products and perform frequent inspections, recording and documentation throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are consistently met. This role involves identifying and troubleshooting quality issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with Manufacturing and Quality Assurance teams. Candidates should have knowledge of ISO requirements, experience writing ISO-compliant procedures, and proficiency with metrology tools.

What You'll Be Doing:

Conduct first article inspections and routine product checks to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Utilize metrology devices such as calipers, gage pins, micrometers, and vision systems to verify and document product quality.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Management to ensure adherence to manufacturing and quality assurance protocols.
• Maintain quality and documentation procedures and processes in alignment with ISO certification requirements (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Assist in maintaining and improving the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Participate in establishing and updating quality specifications and performance standards.
• Lead root cause analysis for customer complaints and product rejections, and implement corrective/preventive actions. What makes you a great fit:
