Job Description

Summary:
Responsible for ensuring consistent quality of buildings and components by providing inspection of processes and product to ensure conformation to customers' specifications and Trachte's quality requirements. Performs in-process and final inspections. Collects, analyzes and reports production quality data. Ensures outgoing customer shipments are accurate and complete. Works closely with production and service staff on warranty RCCA. Administers internal calibration program. Facilitates and delivers quality training and maintains training records. Assists with QMS documentation upkeep and participates in internal/external audits as required. Manages Trachte Compliance Control packet delivery and collection; as well as works closely with production staff to deliver drawing packet revisions and collection and digital archiving of as-built drawings.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensures compliance to the overall quality management system (QMS). Work with manufacturing team members and performs in process quality inspections. Participates in cross-functional quality meetings designed to share information and drive improvement. Communicates details to all levels of the organization. Assists with management reviews covering the effectiveness of the QMS, performance analyses, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborates on development and implementation of training programs to ensure the QMS is broadly communicated. Collects, logs, analyzes, and communicates the status of MDI to Plant Management. Performs in-process and final inspections on all projects. Work with production, engineering, purchasing and other cross-functional teams on root cause and corrective action for findings. Ensures accurate and timely delivery and collection of production drawings and Trachte Compliance Control packet. Assists with the QMS internal audit program, scheduling, reporting, communicating results and facilitating follow up activities. Participates in Supplier/Customer external audits as needed. Performs quality document updates. Proactively compiles and analyzes quality data to identify trends and determine root causes. Assists with and communicates service trends and monitors plans for improvement to warranty metrics. Assists in management of the corrective action program. Manages the internal calibration program. Assists with ensuring safety programs are reviewed and remain current. Other duties as assigned. Education/ Experience:
A BA/BS degree in a related field and/or a minimum of three years of relevant quality, inventory, or manufacturing experience. Strong leadership, communications, creative and facilitative skills, and interest in working in a team environment is required. Able to read drawings/blueprints.
Certificates & Licenses:
CQA Certification or equivalent is desired. ISO training desired.
