Job Description
Quarry Worker Swenson Granite Work a company of Polycor Group is looking for hard-working, positive team players to fill General Quarry Worker positions at our Woodbury, VT location. This is a year-round outdoor job involving the extraction of granite from our quarry.
Responsibilities :
Operate drilling equipment. Operate saws to cut large blocks of granite from the open pit quarry. Follow policies and procedures to assure quality work. Maintain a clean work area. Work safely, according to guidelines and training, to prevent possible injuries to self and others. Perform additional duties as required.Requirements:
Authorized to work in the United States. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions. Must be willing to work overtime, if required. Must have a valid driver's license. Being comfortable with heights. Lift and/or move over 50 pounds.Training:
We offer training that will advance your knowledge, skills, and abilities within the industry. No experience necessary.Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb ladders, balance, and stoop, kneel and crouch.Working Conditions:
Employment status: Permanent / Full-time.Fall & Winter:
Monday to Friday, 7h00 a.m. to 3h00 p.m.Srping and Summer:
