Locums About the Facility The cancer center is located at the hospital and specializes in comprehensive radiation oncology services. The facility maintains modern radiation therapy equipment and utilizes Epic/ARIA EMR systems to support seamless patient care coordination and documentation. About the Facility Location Louisiana offers regional attractions and outdoor recreation opportunities throughout the year. The state features cultural events, entertainment venues, and year-round activities for residents and visitors. About the Clinician's Workday The radiation oncologist will provide comprehensive outpatient oncology services Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with no call requirements. Daily responsibilities include managing approximately 20 patients with treatments reaching 45 per day in a clinic setting while working as the solo physician with support from nursing staff, CNA, and 4 radiation therapists. The clinician will utilize Epic/ARIA EMR system for all patient documentation and treatment planning. Board certification in Radiation Oncology is required, with active Louisiana licensure preferred and credentialing completed within 30-60 days.
