Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract A skilled professional with experience in radiation therapy is needed for a contract opportunity, delivering quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment. This role is essential in providing life-changing treatments and compassionate support to patients undergoing radiation therapy.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy or eligibility to obtain Hands-on experience operating linear accelerators and radiation therapy equipment Thorough understanding of oncology treatment protocols and radiation safety guidelines Strong interpersonal skills to comfort and support patients during procedures Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical treatment plans Ability to start within 7-10 days of an offer
Schedule:
Full-time contract, schedule to be discussed during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
Administer accurate radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians Verify treatment plans and calculation data, ensuring precise patient positioning Monitor patients during procedures, promptly addressing concerns or side effects Maintain thorough, timely records of treatment sessions and patient progress Collaborate with oncology and radiology teams to optimize patient outcomes Ensure equipment is operated in accordance with all safety and regulatory standards
