Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging - Radiology Technologist, with a focus on X-ray procedures. This assignment is scheduled for 14 weeks, with a start date of June 29, 2026 and an anticipated end date of October 2, 2026. The role requires a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Key Qualifications:
Valid ARRT-R certification and current BLS required Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology/X-ray Technologist Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, and imaging protocols Excellent patient communication and education skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and privacy Experience analyzing clinical data, positioning patients, and operating imaging equipment Ability to respond promptly to physician and radiologist orders using professional judgment
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for radiologic imaging exams; explain procedures and address questions Perform diagnostic radiology procedures as ordered by physicians Utilize immobilization techniques and appropriate radiation protection standards Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, equipment, and supply levels Select and administer intravenous contrast media when required; monitor for and manage potential reactions Complete all documentation within PACS and RIS, ensuring accurate record-keeping Educate new hires and students in departmental protocols and best practices as needed Foster a positive, respectful work environment while providing exemplary patient care Benefit from a stable weekday schedule and the opportunity to work within a supportive clinical environment dedicated to imaging excellence.
