We have been providing excellent orthopaedic care in Manhattan and the surrounding communities for over 40 years. At OSMC we believe in having a culture of teamwork to provide quality and excellence in all we do. We are looking for part-time or full-time enthusiastic, motivated Radiologic Technologist to join our team in our busy orthopaedic clinic, with no surgery and no fluoroscopy, which has six physicians and six advanced practitioners. The radiologic technologist will be responsible for the following:
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Operates radiology equipment to produce radiograph x-rays for diagnostic purposes
  • Positions and instructs patients on the imaging procedure being performed
  • Moves x-ray equipment into specified position and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors
  • Protects patients from unnecessary radiation and performs all exams following ALARA
  • Prepares and cleans patient exam rooms
  • Helps answer phone and computer messages
  • Filing and returning x-rays and any other tasks as assigned by Radiology Manager.

Radiology Manager Qualifications:
  • Graduate or soon to be graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
Certification/Registry:
Registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or ASRT Registry Eligible (must obtain within 30 days of hire)
    License:
    Kansas Radiologic Technologist License
      BLS Certification Schedule:
      • Monday through Thursday 7:45 am - 5 pm
      • Friday 6:45 am - 1 pm
