Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Step into a vital healthcare setting where your expertise as a Radiology Technologist will support patient care and diagnostics. As a key member of the imaging department, you will utilize your skills in X-ray and radiologic technology to deliver high-quality images that aid in accurate diagnoses and patient treatment. Key Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification or equivalent Active state license as required for radiologic technologists Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting Proficiency in operating X-ray and imaging equipment Strong knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and safety protocols Ability to communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and providing compassionate care
Role Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging exams, focusing on X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians Operate and maintain radiology equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards Accurately prepare and position patients for imaging procedures Monitor patients during examinations, ensuring comfort and safety throughout Ensure precise documentation and timely archiving of imaging results in electronic record systems Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to support patient care workflows Uphold infection control procedures and regulatory compliance at all times
