Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding 14-week contract as a Radiologic Technologist, bringing your imaging expertise to a well-established healthcare environment. You'll play a vital role in diagnostic patient care, collaborating closely with radiologists and leveraging the latest medical imaging technology.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

October 2, 2026
What You'll Do:
Perform radiologic and x-ray procedures for evaluating pathological conditions, following physician orders and department protocols. Ensure patient safety and comfort by thoroughly explaining procedures and preparing exam rooms with necessary supplies. Apply independent judgment in selecting techniques, equipment settings, and positioning for optimal imaging results. Administer intravenous contrast media when required, monitoring for patient reactions and providing immediate care if needed. Maintain rigorous radiation safety and infection control practices in accordance with ALARA principles and department standards. Record comprehensive, accurate data in both the patient's medical record and radiology information systems (PACS/RIS). Take an active role in problem-solving, image quality assurance, and participate in the education of new staff or students when necessary. Collaborate effectively with the team by upholding professional communication, respecting diversity, and supporting patient confidentiality.
Desired Experience & Certifications:
At least one year of experience in radiology and imaging. Active ARRT (R) certification. Current BLS certification. Enjoy the
