Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Step into a key role supporting diagnostic imaging in a dynamic healthcare environment. Utilize your expertise as a Radiology Technician/X-ray Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging services and ensure the well-being of patients and partners in care.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current certification as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Active state license (if required) Proven experience in radiographic exams, digital imaging, and radiation safety protocols Understanding of patient positioning, correct use of imaging equipment, and image processing Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to achieve accurate and timely results Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and comfort within all imaging interactions
Schedule/Hours:
Contract-based assignment Flexible scheduling aligned to departmental needs
Key Responsibilities:
Operate imaging equipment to perform high-quality radiology and X-ray procedures Verify patient identification and educate patients about the procedure to ensure comfort and cooperation Accurately position patients and adjust technical settings for optimal image quality Maintain compliance with organizational safety standards and infection control policies Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate records within electronic medical systems Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff for timely interpretation and follow-up
