  • Part-time, Full-time, Contract Endoscopic Solutions, PC is seeking a part-time Ultrasound/Radiology Technologist to perform Velacur liver scanning services in our outpatient gastroenterology offices located in Clarkston and Oxford, Michigan.
Velacur is a noninvasive ultrasound-based liver scanning technology used to assess liver fat and liver stiffness/fibrosis. These scans help physicians evaluate and monitor patients with fatty liver disease and other chronic liver conditions without the need for invasive procedures.
This position is ideal for:
Retired or semi-retired ultrasound techs PRN/per diem technologists seeking supplemental income Newer graduates looking to gain experience Individuals seeking a highly flexible schedule and low-stress outpatient environment Position Details Part-time 1-2 days per week Approximately 4-8 hours per day Flexible scheduling Work between Clarkston and Oxford office locations as needed Responsibilities Perform Velacur liver scans in an outpatient clinic setting Prepare and position patients appropriately for scanning Obtain accurate liver stiffness and fat quantification measurements Ensure proper image acquisition and documentation Maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness Communicate professionally with physicians, staff, and patients Follow HIPAA and office safety standards Qualifications Ultrasound Technologist or Radiology Technologist experience preferred ARDMS and/or ARRT certification preferred but not required Abdominal ultrasound experience is a plus Strong patient communication skills Ability to work independently and efficiently Compensation Competitive compensation Open to hourly or per-day compensation arrangements Compensation negotiable based on experience and availability Work Environment Outpatient GI practice Supportive team environment Predictable daytime hours No hospital call Flexible and family-friendly scheduling Interested candidates may submit a resume and availability for consideration.
