Qualifications:

Valid certification or licensure as a Radiology Technologist. Proficiency in operating radiographic and imaging equipment. Experience performing diagnostic radiology procedures in a clinical setting. Comprehensive understanding of radiologic safety standards and protocols. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing patient needs. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. American Heart Association BLS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Accurately operate radiology equipment to obtain high-quality images for physician interpretation. Collaborate with healthcare providers to review imaging results and support optimal patient outcomes. Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to patient confidentiality regulations. Monitor equipment for safety and arrange maintenance as needed. Follow infection control procedures during all patient interactions. Assist in training and mentoring new staff or students, as directed.
