Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled technologist with expertise in imaging, specifically radiology and X-ray, for a short-term contract assignment. This opportunity is designed for a detail-oriented professional ready to step in and deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging over a 6-8 week period.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time coverage as assigned (details provided during interview)
Qualifications:
Current certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Proficiency in performing standard X-ray procedures and other radiology imaging Demonstrated ability to accurately follow physicians' imaging orders Strong understanding of safety protocols related to radiation Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is strongly preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work independently
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures for patients in accordance with established protocols Accurately position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain optimal image quality Maintain thorough documentation and records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to support patient care Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the imaging suite
