Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Embrace an opportunity to make a meaningful difference as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting students in the Central Falls, Rhode Island area and nearby communities. This contract position offers a chance to positively impact children's lives within a school environment, delivering one-on-one behavioral interventions and collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Previous experience working in a school or educational setting preferred Solid understanding of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles and implementation Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with students and school staff Ability to take direction and feedback from supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Adept at data collection, behavior tracking, and following individualized behavior intervention plans Comfortable working with diverse student populations and adapting to dynamic classroom settings
Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans as outlined by the supervising BCBA Work one-on-one with students, supporting their behavioral and educational goals throughout the school day Collect and record data on student progress and behavioral incidents with accuracy and attention to detail Communicate effectively with teachers, school personnel, and families regarding student progress Monitor student safety and promote positive behavioral choices in a supportive, inclusive environment Attend ongoing training as needed to maintain certification and stay informed of best practices Take advantage of this chance to contribute to the educational growth of students in Central Falls and surrounding areas, gaining valuable experience within schools and deepening your impact as a Registered Behavior Technician.
