Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract position making a direct impact on students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Paraprofessional. You'll work closely with educators and therapy professionals to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs, using evidence-based practices rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Ideal candidates have experience in educational or therapeutic settings and hold a valid RBT certification. Your background in supporting children with autism or developmental differences will set you up for success. Paraprofessionals eager to expand their expertise in behavioral interventions are encouraged to apply as well.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting Understanding of ABA principles and data collection Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and adapt to changing student needs Patience, empathy, and a positive, supportive attitude High school diploma or equivalent; relevant college coursework a plus Paraprofessional experience highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
Implement behavioral strategies under supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) Collect and record data on student behaviors and responses Support classroom instruction and manage behaviors to foster a positive learning environment Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to deliver individualized interventions Assist students in developing social, communication, and adaptive skills Participate in team meetings and contribute insight to individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical guidelines Take advantage of a contract opportunity that lets you make a difference each day, works around your schedule, and strengthens your skill set as you advance in the behavioral health and educational fields.
