Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students when you take on this fulfilling assignment as a Registered Behavior Technician. Work closely with a 4th-grade student displaying moderate, aggressive behaviors, contributing your specialized skills and compassion to help foster a positive classroom experience. This onsite, contract opportunity begins August 11th, 2026 and runs through June 3rd, 2027, offering a consistent weekday schedule at 37.5 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be a credentialed RBT with strong experience addressing challenging student behaviors in a school setting. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping a supportive environment while guiding one student's social, emotional, and academic growth.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Demonstrated experience managing aggressive behaviors in children, preferably in educational settings Strong understanding of positive behavior interventions, ABA principles, and individualized student support Excellent collaborative skills for communicating with school staff and families Calm, patient disposition with a commitment to student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention plans and ABA strategies as directed by supervisory staff Provide ongoing, one-on-one support for a 4th-grade student throughout the school day Collect data on student progress and report observations for ongoing plan adjustments Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to ensure a positive learning environment Adapt interventions as needed to respond to escalating or changing behaviors If you are passionate about helping children thrive and have the RBT experience to manage challenging behaviors effectively, this opportunity could be a great fit.
