Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time / Flexible RBT / Child Development Champion in York NE! In this rewarding role, you will provide essential behavioral therapy and support to children with developmental disabilities, including autism. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help children develop vital skills, improve behavior, and enhance their overall quality of life. This position offers flexible hours, making it ideal for those passionate about making a positive impact while balancing other commitments. As an integral part of our team, you'll utilize evidence-based practices such as applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior management techniques to foster growth and independence in the children you serve. Duties Implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles to support children's developmental goals Collect and analyze data on behavior, progress, and skill acquisition to inform ongoing care plans Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence Support classroom instruction by teaching social skills, communication, and behavioral strategies in a caring manner Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with supervisors, caregivers, and educators to ensure consistency across therapy sessions and environments Monitor behavioral health and implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors Qualifications Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate Passionate about working with children and dedicated to supporting their growth through patient care and teaching Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and care plans is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively document progress and collaborate with team members Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards in handling sensitive medical information Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification related to special education or behavioral health is advantageous Embark on a meaningful career where your energy makes a real difference!
