Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students for the upcoming school year. In this role, you'll have the chance to impact the lives of children and adolescents by delivering essential behavioral interventions within a school environment. You'll collaborate closely with compassionate educators and a multidisciplinary support team, providing individualized attention to students and fostering an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required. Previous experience working within an educational or pediatric setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to implement behavior intervention plans consistently. Commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis. Responsible, compassionate, and adaptable in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to implement individualized behavior intervention strategies. Collect and record accurate data for each student's progress. Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), educators, and parents to align on student goals. Provide ongoing support and reinforcement to help students develop life skills and positive behaviors. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development as needed. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times in school settings. Assist in classroom management and facilitate a supportive, structured environment.
