Job Description

RCS Associate - Morgan Hospital PRN Job Description Overview Onsite at Morgan Hospital. PRN, as needed up to 24hrs a week. Come join our Team! Our IU Health Morgan Hospital Team is looking for a dynamic individual to join our Revenue Cycle System Services Registration Team! This role serves as the first point of contact for our patients and is crucial to ensuring a positive experience from the moment they walk in the door. This position is responsible for the delivery of customer facing services. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling/individual solutions, cashiering, release of information and customer service. Position adheres to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards in support of operational goals. To be successful in this position, you must be dependable and consistent in your attendance and timeliness. Registration experience is preferred but not required for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner. Hardwiring specific elements in patient interactions to ensure consistent, high quality, and enhancement of the overall experience. Ensure timely and accurate patient registration Maintain Patient records and confidentiality Provide information and answer patient inquiries Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred. Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance. Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills. Requires effective written and verbal communication skills. Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships. Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives. We are an equal opportunity employer.
