Job Description:

This is a hands-on R D technician role supporting Kraft Heinz's North America Taste Elevation business. The position focuses on executing lab-based product development work tied to innovation and renovation projects. This person will assist with experiments, testing, and commercialization efforts while working across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Meat Science, Chemical Engineering, or similar
• Hands-on lab experience (internship or co-op is acceptable)
• Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at once
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Good communication skills
• Self-starter who can operate with minimal oversight Plusses
• Experience in food or consumer products industry
• Understanding of Design of Experiments (DOE)
• Exposure to analytical or sensory testing
• Prior work with product development in a lab setting Day to Day
• Conduct bench-top experiments and lab testing
• Evaluate products for flavor, texture, color, nutrition, and shelf life
• Support prototype development and product improvements
• Assist with feasibility studies, costing, and commercialization efforts
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Packaging, Quality, Ops, PM, Marketing, and Sales
• Support factory trials, documentation, and initial production runs
• Prepare recipes, labels, and technical documentation
