Job Description:
We are seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Showroom Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment while supporting daily showroom operations and administrative functions. This role is based out of our NY showroom working in the office 3 days a week and 2 days remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome all showroom visitors in a friendly and professional manner Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and emails Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable showroom front area Assist walk-in customers by directing them to the appropriate sales representatives Manage appointment scheduling and showroom calendar coordination Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries Maintain visitor logs and ensure security procedures are followed Support the sales team with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation Monitor showroom supplies and coordinate restocking as needed Provide general information about products/services and company offerings
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
