Receptionist Position Summary:
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and business partners while supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of the agency. This role is responsible for managing front desk activities, handling incoming calls and correspondence, and assisting team members with various administrative tasks to ensure a professional and welcoming office environment.Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Operations Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate team members Welcome visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area Mail & Package Management Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and courier deliveries Assist with shipping and mailing needs as necessary Administrative Support Support licensed agents with data entry and administrative tasks Assist with scheduling, filing, and office coordination Help maintain organized client and office records Support general office operations and team projects as neededQualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years of administrative or office support experience required Insurance industry experience is a plus Willingness to obtain a Property & Casualty Insurance license within 90 days of hire Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Ability and willingness to learn agency management software (Applied Epic) Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Positive personality with strong customer service skills Comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels Ability to pass a criminal background check, as permitted by lawHours:
