DENTAL EXPERIENCE IS A MUST!
We are seeking a BILINGUAL, professional and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate medical records. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with dental and medical office management systems, and a strong understanding of healthcare documentation and terminology. The Dental Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations and delivering exceptional patient service. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. Verify insurance coverage and benefits. Collect payments and process billing using dental billing procedures. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and health information management standards Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to handle inquiries and appointment requests Update patient information accurately within Softdent. Review documentation for completeness and accuracy before submission or filing Assist with insurance verification and claims processing to ensure timely reimbursement Perform clerical tasks including filing and managing medical records Support clinic administrative functions such as intake procedures, care plan documentation, and office management tasks Skills Proficiency with dental practice management software including SoftDent. Experience with Dental Insurance, coding, treatment plan presentation and carecredit application. Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance billing processes Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and record keeping Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively Prior clinic or dental office experience is highly desirable Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with health information management practices Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy in all tasks This position offers an engaging opportunity to be an integral part of a dedicated healthcare team committed to providing outstanding patient care.Job Type:
