Recreation Assistant

Responsibilities Plan, organize, and facilitate diverse recreational activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities, including arts and crafts, games, outings, and special events. Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs) such as mobility, dressing, and personal hygiene to promote independence and comfort. Establish and maintain building cleanliness and organization Assist in preparing facility for programs and events. Manage activity schedules efficiently to ensure timely execution of programs while adapting to changing resident needs or preferences. Acts as receptionist and greets and screens visitors Provide administrative and office support Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with residents of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Skilled in schedule management to coordinate multiple activities seamlessly throughout each day. Able to lift and carry, in solo and team lift situations, heavy sport, fitness, and janitorial related equipment Must be able to perform daily tasks which include the following bodily movements: sit, stand, reach turn, climb, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crawl, push and pull frequently, grasp objects, use fine manipulation, write an operate office machines and equipment

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
