Based on established policies, incumbent carries out assigned phases of designed activity applying an understanding of the interest and needs of program participants.

Typical assignments may include:

establishing schedules of events; applying rules and regulions in supervising assigned participants in activities; setting up events, scheduling and conducting tours and field trips. Demonstres procedures common to the activities, and instructs in the use of reled equipment. Conducts instructional classes in the recreional area. Helps to plan and coordine details of recreional activities and maintains reled supplies. Assists in planning, scheduling and publicizing various activities to tract and motive participants. Adheres to safety regulions and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupional illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immedie supervisor. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communices positively in a friendly manner. Acknowledges customers, smiles and makes eye contact. Asks questions to determine, verify and solve problems. Checks for sisfaction on the quality of good and services. Takes action to solve problems quickly. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum one year experience in a reled recreional activity. Skill to demonstre activities and use of reled facility equipment. Skill to learn applicable MCCS policies and procedures. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance. Additional informion
