Job Description
Job Description The Recreation Activities Attendant is responsible for enhancing the guest experience by providing engaging and safe recreational activities. This role involves organizing, leading, and supervising various activities, ensuring a positive and memorable stay for all guests.
Responsibilities:
Activity Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement a diverse schedule of recreational activities, including sports, games, arts and crafts, and themed events. Organize and lead group activities, ensuring a fun and inclusive atmosphere for all participants. Coordinate with other departments to integrate recreational activities with hotel promotions and packages.Guest Services:
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly. Assist guests in selecting appropriate activities and providing necessary equipment or instructions. Monitor guest participation in activities to ensure safety and satisfaction.Facility Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of recreation areas, equipment, and supplies. Inspect equipment regularly to identify and report any maintenance issues. Assist with the setup and breakdown of activity areas as needed.Safety and Risk Management:
Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Respond to emergencies and provide first aid assistance as required. Maintain accurate records of incident reports and safety inspections.Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of guest participation, equipment inventory, and activity schedules. Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling staff, ordering supplies, and preparing reports.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in recreation or hospitality preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Passion for creating fun and engaging experiences for guests of all ages.Source:
