Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable professional to join the Recreation Team at Sun Valley Resort! The Recreation Specialist is a front-line, guest-facing role responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and daily administrative duties. This position plays a key part in ensuring our guests have a memorable and seamless experience across the Resort. • Hiring for
Part Time Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for Recreation guests — answering questions, making recommendations, and handling ticket/pass sales. Provide resort and local area information (restaurants, events, activities, etc.). Support restaurant reservations and guest inquiries in person and over the phone. Assist with on-site events, including ticket sales and entry management. Respond to calls and emails with professionalism and efficiency. Handle guest concerns or route them to the appropriate manager. Perform additional administrative and customer service duties as needed. Qualifications:
Experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service preferred. Excellent communication and multitasking skills. Friendly and professional demeanor with a strong attention to detail. Knowledge of Sun Valley Resort and the Wood River Valley a plus. Willingness to learn new software; experience with RTP, Showpass, and OpenTable is a bonus. Reliable team player who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Able to safely move objects up to approximately 40 pounds about the workplace. Able to remain focused in an office environment for extended periods of time, often for the full shift Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays Experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service preferred.
