Job Title:
Recruiter Coordinator Job Description The Recruiter Coordinator supports the full hiring lifecycle by coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication, and assisting with hiring events and job fairs. This role ensures a smooth and professional experience for candidates while partnering closely with recruiters and hiring leaders. The position offers hands-on exposure to recruiting operations within a fast-growing manufacturing environment and the potential to convert to a full-time role based on performance. Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate interviews, including phone, virtual, and onsite meetings, for candidates and hiring teams. Align and manage calendars between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers to ensure timely and efficient interview scheduling. Manage all candidate communications, including interview confirmations, reminders, updates, and follow-ups. Ensure candidates have a smooth and welcoming onsite experience by coordinating badges, directions, check-ins, and other logistics. Assist in planning hiring events such as onsite hiring days, community events, job fairs, and related recruiting activities. Coordinate logistics for hiring events, including location setup, materials preparation, hiring manager packets, branded materials, and sign-in sheets. Update and maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data integrity and completeness. Track hiring metrics such as event attendance, candidate conversions from events, and other recruitment-related data. Support the preparation and processing of offer letters and assist with onboarding coordination when needed. Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Manage high-volume candidate flow during events, ensuring efficient check-in, routing, and communication. Represent the organization professionally at hiring events and job fairs, engaging confidently with large groups of candidates. Essential Skills Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or recruitment support. Experience with onboarding processes or exposure to full cycle recruiting activities. Ability to schedule and coordinate interviews across multiple stakeholders. Proficiency working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), including platforms such as Workday or similar tools. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask while managing many moving pieces simultaneously. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to confidently engage with large groups of candidates in person and virtually. Event coordination experience, particularly in hiring events, job fairs, or campus recruiting. Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume candidate flow, especially during events. Strong planning and execution skills under tight timelines and time pressure. Customer service mindset with a focus on delivering a positive candidate experience. Professional presence when representing the organization at events and in all candidate interactions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in full cycle recruiting or exposure to end-to-end hiring processes. Background in organizing hiring events, job fairs, or campus recruiting programs. Experience working in a fast-paced or fast-growing environment, ideally within manufacturing or similar settings. Ability to collaborate effectively with recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders. Comfort using technology and recruitment systems to track candidates and hiring metrics. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Interest in converting to a full-time position based on performance and business needs. Work Environment This role is fully onsite in a cubicle office environment within a fast-growing manufacturing setting. You will work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates in a collaborative and supportive team culture. The position involves regular use of Applicant Tracking Systems and other recruiting technologies to manage candidate records and hiring metrics. Work may include periods of high activity, particularly around hiring events and job fairs, requiring effective time management and composure under pressure. As a representative of the organization at onsite events and in-office interactions, you are expected to maintain a professional presence and attire appropriate for an office and event setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Olive Branch, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
