Job Description

Staffing Specialist - Manufacturing Recruitment (High-Volume Hiring)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Staffing Specialist to lead high-volume recruitment efforts, primarily focused on manufacturing roles . This role plays a key part in maintaining staffing levels to meet production demands, ensuring smooth onboarding, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable handling a fast-paced recruitment environment .
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead High-Volume Recruitment:
Coordinate recruitment efforts for non-exempt employees, with a primary focus on manufacturing and operations roles . Manage end-to-end recruitment, including posting job openings, screening resumes , conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, and ensuring a smooth hiring process.
New Hire Onboarding & Orientation:
Administer pre-employment testing, conduct reference checks, and coordinate pre-hire processes, including background screenings.
Database and Record Management:
Maintain accurate records within the human resources information system (HRIS) , ensuring compliance with applicant tracking procedures. Generate reports on applicant flow, hiring metrics, and employee status changes.
Documentation and Compliance:
Prepare and maintain employment-related documents, such as offer letters and employment packages . Ensure adherence to company policies and employment regulations. Assist with the creation and maintenance of HR forms, templates, and reports.
Employee Relations & Communication:
Provide support by explaining company policies and procedures to employees and helping resolve routine HR inquiries. Assist with employee benefit administration and updates.
Other Duties:
Perform other administrative tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support overall HR operations.
Qualifications:
Bilingual Spanish-speaking preferred Experience in high-volume recruitment , preferably for manufacturing or similar environments. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment . Proficiency in HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
